About the Project
We are seeking an experienced SE-Level Engineer to support a global IT/OT modernization project for pharmaceutical manufacturing plants in Japan.
The successful candidate will work across multiple infrastructure workstreams, supporting current-state assessments, requirements definition, solution evaluation, implementation planning, technical execution, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct current-state assessments of IT/OT infrastructure at manufacturing sites.
• Support Windows 11 image development, testing, and deployment.
• Implement and support PXE boot solutions.
• Support manufacturing domain migration and registration activities.
• Participate in network discovery and modernization initiatives.
• Support HCI, on-premise servers, storage, backup, and remote-access infrastructure.
• Contribute to infrastructure standardization across manufacturing sites.
• Conduct site discovery, rack assessments, and MDF/server-room evaluations.
• Identify implementation tasks and coordinate their completion.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Define technical requirements and implementation activities.
• Coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, and project members across multiple workstreams.
• Prepare technical documentation, assessments, and progress reports.
• Provide technical support for additional modernization workstreams as required.
Job Specifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience
• 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in System Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure implementation, migration, modernization, or system construction projects.
• Experience working through assessment/requirements and implementation phases is preferred.
