About the Project
We are looking for an experienced Azure Engineer to support a global IT/OT modernization project for pharmaceutical manufacturing plants in Japan.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on Azure expertise across cloud infrastructure, Azure File Share implementation and governance, hybrid environments, migration, infrastructure modernization, and technical solution implementation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, implement, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Lead/support Azure File Share implementation and governance.
• Assess existing infrastructure and identify appropriate Azure modernization opportunities.
• Support hybrid Azure and on-premise infrastructure environments.
• Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure implementation projects.
• Support manufacturing domain migration and registration activities where required.
• Participate in network modernization and infrastructure discovery.
• Support storage, backup, remote access, and infrastructure standardization initiatives.
• Participate in site discovery and infrastructure assessments.
• Evaluate technical solutions and recommend appropriate Azure technologies.
• Define technical requirements, implementation plans, and execution tasks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation, assessments, and progress reports.
• Provide technical support across additional cloud/infrastructure workstreams as required.
Job Specifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience
• 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in Azure Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, System Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience delivering Azure implementation and infrastructure projects.
• Experience working from assessment/requirements and solution design through implementation.
• Strong experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise environments is highly desirable.
