Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Residential Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating home layout plans for our clients using AutoCAD and other tools. They will need to have strong technical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed home layout plans using AutoCAD and other tools.

Work with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.

Provide design suggestions and recommendations based on industry trends and best practices.

Collaborate with other team members, including architects, interior designers, and contractors, to ensure that designs meet project requirements.

Review plans and make necessary adjustments based on feedback from clients and other team members.

Stay up to date with the latest design trends and tools.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in home layout design, with a strong portfolio of work.

Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.

Strong technical skills and an eye for detail.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and clients.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Must provide a portfolio of work during the interview process.
