Job Description
Position Summary
A resource with this position will mainly be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases that efficiently and securely store, organize, and retrieve data for various applications and systems. They will work directly with the team to understand the requirements and work accordingly. This position requires full time database development. You will need to write all database code by yourself.
Knowledge/Experience
• Degree in Software engineering/ Computer Science
• 4-6 Years of Database Development experience minimum
• RDBMS: MSSQL (80%), Oracle (15%), MYSQL (5%)
• Architect logical and physical DB Design
• Writing Stored procedure, functions and adhoc sql
• ETL development, mostly with TSQL
• Understanding of SQL Agent Jobs
• Optimize existing Db code
• Optimize complex procedures and SQL
• Understanding of indexes and its usage
• SSIS working experience
• Able to use/configure SQL Profiler/ xEventProfiler
