We are searching for an experienced and detail-oriented ServiceNow QA Tester with a strong background in Human Resources (HR) processes to join our team. As a ServiceNow QA Tester specializing in HR, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of ServiceNow applications tailored to HR functions. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of HR-related projects, enhancing our organization's efficiency and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with HR business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand HR process requirements and objectives.
- Design, create, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically focused on HR functionalities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Conduct manual and automated tests to identify HR-related defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Ensure that HR workflows, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and benefits administration, function seamlessly within the ServiceNow environment.
- Execute rigorous regression testing to validate that HR-related enhancements or changes do not adversely affect existing HR processes.
- Document and report HR-related defects with clarity and precision, including steps to reproduce and associated impact.
- Collaborate with developers to facilitate in-depth analysis and resolution of HR-specific defects.
- Work closely with HR business users to gather feedback and ensure that HR-related ServiceNow solutions meet their requirements.
- Participate actively in release management activities, validating HR functionalities before deployment to maintain high-quality standards.
- Continuously enhance testing practices for HR processes, incorporating industry best practices and innovative techniques.
- Collaborate with other QA team members to share expertise and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a QA Tester with a focus on testing ServiceNow applications, particularly in the HR domain.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and workflows, including employee lifecycle management, performance appraisal, talent acquisition, and benefits administration.
- Proven expertise in creating comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for HR functionalities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques, tools, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and test automation tools specific to HR testing is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with HR professionals and technical teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications and HR-related certifications are advantageous.
